Right now there is a sale on premium, meaning it works out at around $20 for a year. I can't really believe that they have a lesson for virtually every song ever written, but maybe I'm wrong. Does anyone know if these are any better than what you can find on You Tube? Some of the songs I looked up are really obscure traditional songs, yet they still have the video in the corner. I'm wondering whether the "Pro" chords you can get with a paid membership are of such a better quality that they are worth subscribing for.Īnother thing is that each page opens up a little video in the bottom corner proclaiming to be a lesson on how to learn that song. Some of these songs are beyond my ability to the point where you wouldn't even know what I was trying to play, but some others are straightforward enough, but the chords sound wrong to my ear. I use Rocksmith, Yousician, and You Tube, but recently have been using Ultimate Guitar to find songs I like and attempt to play along with the chords. I've been playing about 6 months and my practice is about 30 minutes of various drills and scales, then another 30 minutes playing songs I like to keep me interested. I searched but couldn't find if this was asked and answered before.
